Have you guys ever had any problems with your wii? What were they and how did you resolve it?

My wii doesn't load discs any more. I think one of my darling children stuck a dime in it.. -_-  Otherwise it's fine... VC content n such is peachy.

I'm going to send it in to Nintendo pretty soon here to get it taken care of. I miss playing PBR.

I've only had a few problems here and there, and mostly they're not too bad honestly.  Sometimes a little scary.

That whole 'green pixel' GPU-overheating problem never happened to me, BUT there were times when I'd turn the Wii on or when I'd turn it off, and I'd see a green LINE of pixels horizontal across the screen(and sometimes vertical), but nothing that continued to pop up during.

Also, when I first popped in Brawl(or maybe during that first day, or maybe the second), the 'signal' on the Wii went OUT when it started loading the menu/first-movie.  Basically, my TV displays a blue-screen when there is no signal, and when you turn an external device off, it will display text, something to the effect of 'there is no signal', and that's what it did for a BRIEF second.  But that was all, thankfully.

Had a couple games freeze, some either during or close-to the time they were saving, which scared me.  Didn't do anything though.

And Brawl's amount of loading time makes me worry that the drive is going to wear out before long, but who knows.  It's times like this that I wish it was a top-loading device, although I guess that wouldn't gurantee anything really.  I just know how MUCH more quieter my Gamecube is...

well sure, your gamecube doesn't have a honking huge fan (in relation to the console's actual size) to the back of it, and overheat like crazy!
i've noticed it get very very hot after being used for some length of time, and we've only ever had one game freeze. that, however, was a bug in the game (super paper mario, world 2-2), so not related. we don't play it as much any more since i think the hype has worn off, and it just appears to be another useless box with a cd drive (until they start making good/real games for it).

Well, I meant 'quiet' in terms of disc-clicking when the laser's seeking and all that.  Fan-wise, I barely notice it all that much(I think it even shuts off during VC gaming).

The only problem I've had with the system is my controllers would de-sync with the system.
Usually I would have to fully power the system off, unplug it, then pull the batteries out of the controllers.

After all of that, I hook it all back up and it all works fine.

OH, that's right!  Shoot, mine's been totally working for so long, I didn't even REMEMBER that.  It used to happen at least once or twice a month....I wonder if one of the updates fixed it?  I mean mine hasn't done that since maybe like....June or August of last year or something.  Man.

The first Wii I owned had the dreaded Error 110213.  Signified fatality.  Had to send the console in for a replacement.  Lost 3+ hours of Zelda time, though I suppose it wasn't really that bad of a sacrifice seeing as there are people who have suffered much worse, what with the "Cannon Room glitch" and all...  Got my replacement system about a week after the initial phone call, packaged up my defective console and sent it off.  Now everything works fine.

Controllers forget that they're in sync and stop working sometimes.  Removing the batteries usually works, but for the few times that that doesn't, I've found the only solution is to completely unplug the Wii for a few moments (holding the power button on the console for 4 seconds to FULLY shut down does not seem to work).

For the occasional unrecognized disc, usually I just eject it and pop it right back in, and then it works fine.

Other than that, nothing major to report, really.
