I figured resetting the radar broke the chain but I saw a video and a tutorial elsewhere that proved me wrong. I'll try it next time.

And sadly, I can't do any wifi with my DS while I'm up here at school since they changed the wireless network and this new one is too secure for a Wii or a DS to use. I'm still able to get my Wii online with ethernet though, but of course you can't trade Pokemon on PBR.

I like false swipe though. If the Pokemon using it is like level 100 or something it's instant 1hp on low level Pokemon. That helps ALOT.

A SHINY PARAS! LEVEL 8! FOUND AT MT. MOON!

I was replaying Firered for the heck of it cause I like the Poke Special manga and I was balance training my pokes right? Until then, this out of the ordinary Paras comes in and I see golden shrooms and I'm all, I'm not dreaming, this is the real deal!

Now....wow....just...wow....after all these years ever in a Pokemon game, I caught my first shiny....ever since the days of Ruby/Sapphire first came out...wow.....

Nature- relaxed

HP-24

attack-18
defense-15
sp. atk- 14
sp def- 14
speed- 9

ability- effect spore.

My god, now if I train it correctly...it would be the most badass soon to be Parasect someday! Off to check its status on EV training on serebii.

If we have a cloner around here I can get mine cloned and distribute it to those of you who are regulars and want to try out the shiny hunting thing.

When I get my router fixed I can clone pretty easily. I cloned my Palkia twice and my son's Dialga once.

I have a question. If you reset the radar multiple times, does that reset the chain?

No it doesn't. Done it myself. Unless you happen to be unlucky and step in the wrong patch...
