Today I finished Professor Layton and the Curiouse Village. The game was well worth my money.
The entire game is revolves around a mysterys in a small town called St. Mystere. In this town Professor Layton and his kid apprentice try to find the Golden Apple. The golden apple is said to be the late barons tresure, and that is hidden somewhere in the town. While you are solving the towns secrets you find many puzzles along the way. In total there are 120 puzzles. Some of theme were very very very hard...
Anyways, things that made this game great were the short videos which had great voice acting. The music was also outstanding. I enjoyed just leaving my DS on next to my computer so I could listen to it.
it's a great game

I really really like that little 'music box' diddy that seems to be the main town theme(or whatever it is).
I didn't get the game myself.... I still find it odd that a bunch of otherwise not-related puzzles can string a story together well. I know, it's all about the puzzles of course, but it's still strange to be given a neat story, and then be handed a puzzle instead of interacting with the story.
If I ever get some income again I might try it, we'll see...

I got it this past week and I LOVE it. I'm too stupid to play it, but when I figure it out...it's so satisfying.

LOL I have this game but it's still wrapped. I have the issue of buying games that I want when they come up but never playing them because there is always more games I want. I will play it some day though

This is easily one of the best games on the DS. Utterly charming, good voice acting, 2D animated cutscenes, an interesting story, a
gorgeous
art style, and an addictive soundtrack.
