I'm thinking about stopping it because I don't get that many participants. I hardly get 12 people which creates and uneven amount of people in the last round (12-6-3) and sometimes they don't even show. I need at least 16 people for a decent tournament. If some more people play I would be happy to do the tournament it is just that I don't get enough people to play.

Should I continue the tournaments?

I'm not sure. If not maybe we should set up a challenge thread where people can post saying they'd like to play and see if any takers show up?

It's the dates that prevent me from playing.

Weekends are the worst days for me because that's when I work the most, usually until about 11pm eastern time.

I'd like to have brawl tournaments but so many us of are busy that it's hard to coordinate.

Maybe Hen's idea of a challenge thread is better for now. After a while, we should be able to see who's usually available most at various times and we wouldn't have to wait for everyone to get some competitive play time in.

Back on the Nsider boards I did this Challenge Tower for Melee were they did Challenges like battling lvl 9 computers with max handicap or something like that. That does sound like good idea for now Hen so I guess I could take the tournaments down for a bit and I or someone else can do that.

The only problem I have with them is that I have a hard time remembering now that other games are out, and when I'm working on new projects and stuff.  It's also a mess trying to coordinate everything when no one else is prepared and ready.  If we had a sort of automated/real-time-updated bracket-system along with a separate shout-box on the actual Brawl board, that might speed things up a little. But even then, it's that same matter of 'not enough people' and 'a lot of them don't show up, or forget, or don't prepare things before the event time'....which is understandable, but it still comes down to problems in the line-up.

I'd almost say 'no', and that I'd kind of like to move onto some Mario Kart since you can have more people on all at once, but at the moment I do feel like I get a small rush preparing for and entering a contest(although I got beat immediately both times by CC =_=; ), so I dunno.

I like the challenge thread idea more...  Although there isn't a heavy flow of traffic here, so I'm not sure if that will work either.
