All 4 of us went down to Gamestop this morning and were waiting at the door for them to open up. I got the last WiiFit (not including preorders). Thank goodness we were early!

We then went to Wal-mart to go grocery shopping (yea, super Wal-mart) and my feet were KILLING me by the time I got home. Plus I had waited to long to eat something so my blood sugar was low, I was crabby and feeling weak.

After unloading all the groceries I popped WiiFit in. I made a quick trip to the mii channel to make a new mii just for use in wiifit. I knew it would make my mii super fat so at least now I was prepared. Plus I gave her pigtails because it just doesn't make sense to work out with your hair down(like my original mii had).

I entered my height and weight, did the balance test and all that good stuff.... and it sure plumped up my mii with lovely elephantine music to go with it. Heh. My feet were REALLY hurting by now. Bad idea to walk all over the store for that long and then plan to do excercises when you get home. I did a quick yoga pose and then handed over the wiimote to someone else. The rest of the fam wanted to try it out so I started on making lunch and watched Alex's mii get plumped up, Andrew try to master the balancing and Chicky trying to figure out when to stand on and when NOT to stand on the board.

I'm planning on using this mostly in the mornings when I'm full of energy. I'm more of an early bird than a night owl.

Oh right, I also set a goal to lose 20 pounds. I think I set it for 2 or 3 months. Not sure which one. My overall goal is to lose 60 pounds but I believe the max it allows is 20 at once. You can make new goals later if needed.

dan whipped up this nifty graphic for us:

Should we make a Wii Fit board in case there are many Wii Fit Diaries?  It might just organize them well enough in case some of these fall off the front page of this board....*shrug*  Maybe not necessary, just wondering.

Anyway, that's really cool.  I've actually gained like .4 lbs since the first body test I did, but they do say small fluctuations of 3-5 lbs happen daily, and I did do the test after eating supper.  I made a video of that body test, not sure if I want to put it up on Youtube or not.  It doesn't show any information -I- think is sensitive, but y'never know, someone might recognize my Mii or something?  I dunno.

The auto-signature is awesome(thanks dan!), not sure if I can make much use of it since I'm not setting very high goals just yet, but I entered in my stuff and all.  At first I thought it was weird that my 'How many pounds I want to lose' went up just because I gained a tiny amount instead of losing it, but I guess without revealing a person's weight, it makes sense to just say that you want to lose more weight to get to 'whatever my target secretly is'. :p  Myself, I just want to see if I can lose and keep-off(not fluctuate) just 3.5 in two weeks, as a starter I guess.  I tried to set it to 4, but Wii Fit told me off for that...ah well.

I like to get my wiifit in in the mornings. Preferably before the kids wake up. One day last week I was up doing my morning run on WiiFit when my son came in and started watching. He got so excited to see little doggies running across the screen. Then he started naming off what Mii's would pass me.

Once I had finished my morning routine I let him get on and try some balance games. He actually got a score of 60+ on the ski jump game. I'm impressed! (He's 4)

My sister came over last night. But before we had even decided if she could come over or not Alex was on the phone with me. "We need to have a WiiFit challenge tonight! We need to do soccer heading, hula hoop and tilt table!!!" I wasn't feeling well by the time she got there so they had to have it out without me. I witnessed some fierce competition between them. I definitely have to say that these types of things are much more fun when shared with friends.

On days when I can't or don't feel like doing the excercises I try to at least do a weight/balance check. That way I'm still on the graph and still aware of my progress.

Chicky's favorite wii fit game is table tilt. She LOVES watching all the friends and family members being turned into little marbles and being rolled around the table and dropping down the holes. She gets SO excited when her little pink ball drops down on the screen.. and provides commentary for when you accidentally drop someone off the edge or drop her in the opposite hole she wanted to go into. I love playing with the kids around. They make it much more exciting.

We had another hoop dee hoop contest tonight with my sister over. She did Super Hula Hoop like 6 times so she could beat Alex's high score. I decided to hop on real quick when she went for a bathroom break... I broke her score first try. I was near breaking point... keeping that speed of hula hooping going for that long.. UGH! My legs and shoulders were already sore after the weekend I had. I got a score of 414 on each side... so the new score to beat is 818!

ps: when you play wii fit on your birthday the balance board has a party hat on and wishes you a happy birthday
