How to participate?
Participating is easy. All you have to do is race! No need to even post times here!
Thanks to the magic of the Mario Kart Channel and WiiConnect24, all you have to do is exchange Mario Kart friend codes with me (0259 1154 1666) and then race. The Mario Kart Channel via WiiConnect24 will then sync our racetimes and I'll update the board. Some of you have already exchanged codes with me, but for those of you who have not please let me know!

The times will be updated regularly as new times appear. So get racing!

i wish i had this game .__.

Wow....huge undertaking.  I'll have to add you soon, although I haven't done Time Trials too much just yet.  (Although if I remember right, after I beat it, I spent most of my time on the SNES game doing Time Trials, I think.)

You guys ALL use the wheel? o.o

I the Wii Wheel! It takes some getting used to, but I think it works very well. Yeah, it's a little corny but it controls just right: it's not too sensitive and it's doesn't require you to over-exaggerate a turn or anything like that. The only thing that sucks about using the Wii Wheel over the GCN controller is that you have to use batteries. Also, if you go back and play Double Dash!! or or any other previous Mario Kart game, you might find yourself moving the controller around to drive instead of using the analog stick or d-pad.

Also, cool idea for the leaderboard, Sonic! A lot of work on your part, but cool nonetheless.

I added you Sonic, dunno when I should be popping up, but I will say I haven't done ALL of the time trials yet.  I'll get to that some time(although I know I at least won't be able to beat Birdie....dag gone.... @_@;; )

And yeah, I use the Wii Wheel as well.  I even used the Ubisoft wheels back when I had them, and wouldn't play Excite Truck at all without them(too bad I don't have that game anymore, I kinda miss it, and used versions are STILL 35 bucks(and new versions are still retail price, what the crap).  I haven't even attempted to use GCN or Wiimote+Nunchuck.

Also, I dunno if this is odd, but I turn the wheel like a real steering wheel while I'm in a kart, but I hold the wheel 'flat' and simply tilt/pitch it left and right when I use motorcycles(which I use more than karts honestly).
