I need more Genesis in my VC collection. I do love my platformers.

I highly recomend Ristar if you don't have it already. It was one of the last Genesis titles made by the Sonic Team and it is very fun.

Oh, this is 'good Genesis games already on VC'...hrm.  Not too sure at the moment.

I'd like to suggest waiting on Phantasy Star IV...it came out in Japan on the same day as Super Mario RPG, but if you ask me it's almost as good actually(just not in the same vein obviously).

Well, the Sonic games are an obvious ... but I'm assuming you have those already. I think I remember you mentioning in the shoutbox and in a thread that you have them already.

Some other ones I think that are good ...

Ristar
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3
Gunstar Heroes
Bonanza Bros.

As LBoogie said, the Sonic games are a given.
Comix Zone is great. I remember the Ecco the Dolphin games as being really good (and challenging too). I also remember liking Kid Chameleon when I was younger. I would recommend Space Harrier 2 and Shinobi 3 as well

Ecco the Dolphin is challenging, yes. The graphics were amazing when that first came out. The sounds are melancholy and set mood of the story very well, too.

It's kinda frustrating. I can't remember if the cheat code that let you be invincible, never run out of air, and choose your level is in the VC version. I'd actually decide not to buy it if that code's inaccessible in the Wii version.

Ecco is an impossible game!  I tried playing it on my brother's Wii, and I couldn't even get passed the first level.  I only recommend it if you have super-human reflexes and an extreme patience level.

I haven't been following the VC's library, so I don't know what's available for it... I did, however, download Ristar awhile ago, and it's a great game.  I recommend it if you haven't already purchased it.
