I think it would be AWESOME if Boo and the whole of the boo family got their own game. Something like a mix between NEW SUPER MARIO BROS and Paper Mario.

I boo. All boos. They're just awesome. I think there is a lot of room for character development n stuff.

Do you dig that idea? Do you have another character from some other game or system that you'd like to see? What would the game be like?

I want a Zelda/Sheik game. Or even Impa. I want to know what her life was like as the protector of the child Ganondorf was after.

The boo idea is interesting but I've honestly never been a fan of most Mario characters.

I've proposed the idea of playing as Zelda during the seven years Link was put away into the sacred realm in Ocarina of Time a few times before.  I think for one, Nintendo should readdress Ocarina of Time at least once seeing as they're pretty content to reference it or use it somehow in each game that's followed it and secondly, they could expand on Zelda and for once really show her as the strong character she would have had to be in order to become what she did. (and no, it's not because we need more strong women, I hate that argument.  we need more strong CHARACTERS, gender doesn't matter.  now THERE is true equality.  stop putting such emphasis on strong female characters who obtain this "strength" with nothing to back it up.  this one hates that.) This way the game would be all new content and not just a remake of OoT.  (which I'd love to see regardless, but NOT with the TP engine/aesthetic like FAR too many people want to see)

The game could combine elements of traditional Zelda titles like dungeoning and puzzle solving and also add elements of stealth and martial arts on Zelda's road to becoming a Sheikah.  That and maybe shed some freaking light on the nearly 10 year old debate of Zelda's "transformation" into Sheik.  I'd LOVE to see that settled.  It's a wonder Nintendo hasn't noticed this by now, they took time to point out the infamous timeline issue which they conveniently leave out of the GAMES.

In hindsight I guess Zelda really IS a main character, but the entire Zelda franchise has centered around playing as Link so it's somewhat the same thing to give Zelda a game and Sheik is a pretty unexplored character as well as the Sheikah.

I think a non-main character getting its own game can work, but could also be a total flop. So, it really depends on the story and the character, I suppose. For example, when Yoshi got his own Mario-like game, Yoshi's Island, total success!!! I that game.

In the Metroid universe, I have kind of thought what would it be like to control someone else other than Samus Aran. Of course, she's my favorite character so I have a hard time saying that would be totally awesome. However, I think it would be a cool idea to maybe play a game that takes place before Metroid: Zero Mission, where you kind of run into Samus and discover who she is. Maybe you're controlling Adam Malkovich, or maybe even a Chozo. I dunno ... I'm never good with creating game ideas.

I'd totally want a RE4 remake, but in the perspective of Luis Sera! That guy was a total pimp! Hahaha. Yeah, you know the suave Spanish guy who'd barge in every once in a while and make funny jokes. His back story gets more and more interesting as the game progresses, and I think if you could play out his story, that would make things so much cooler.

I've been interested in Metroid games without Samus as the playable character....Here's one I have for Weavel from Metroid Prime Hunters:

I think the intro for Weavel could be expanded into a Metroid game or a game of the Metroid universe with Weavel as the main character. The game would involve Weavel on a Space Pirate mission that deals with the assassination of a Galactic Federation leader. He would be trying to hi-jack the leader's ship when he'll be shot down on a barren planet by "called-in" GF fighter ships. On this barren planet, Weavel will collect upgrades and explore the terrain in search of mechanisms to repair his ship to the point of being able to hunt down the leader's GF flagship. Upon this planet, Weavel will discover of an ancient civilization along with the KiHunters.

Of course, Weavel and the KiHunters develop friendly relations and players will later discover that they go to Zebes to help the Space Pirate forces there develop and reconstruct a new Zebes base along with Ridley, Kraid and Mother Brain. The KiHunters will also help Weavel out on occasions during his assassination mission.

Once Weavel fixes his ship and solves the problem of the KiHunters (who's leader has been contained in a temple), Weavel will be on trail again to hi-jack the GF flagship and will enter a Star Fox-styled battle in space above the Federation's capital planet with the flagship's security units (who are piloting fighter ships). Eventually, Weavel will enter the docking bay of the flagship to reach his goal of assassinating the GF leader while having to battle GF troopers of all ranks along the way.

Upon the assassination of the GF leader, Weavel will send out a communication message to a High Command member to confirm that the assassination is complete. This member will then ask him to take out a major GF military base on the grounds of the Federation's capital planet and to steal a "special" weapon from the base (which will later be known as the "Hyper Beam" in SM). Weavel will accept and will eventually see himself fleeing from the security droids of the capital. He will hitch a Federation fighter ship to take his leave from the capital planet after having used his ship as an explosive to stimulate the destruction of the military base (Weavel crashes the flagship into the base's main structure). This will then end the game, and should happen around Metroid Prime's time in the series.
