As many of you know that the beat em up game titled Project H.A.M.M.E.R. is on hold as of last year's E3 but does anyone think it will return now with the announcement of the Wii MotionPlus? Or do you think the project will just be scraped?

I personally think now that the Wii MotionPlus is announced that the creators of Project H.A.M.M.E.R. will emerge from its hold time and show us a spectacular hammer swinging system and hopefully bring a good hardcore game which Nintendo seems to want to avoid even though Nintendo is making the game.

Actually, I was kinda thinking the same thing......although last I heard, it was a cancelled game, not on hold.  Although at this point I would hope so.

It'd definately make more sense now with WiiMotion Plus, and I hope they have the sense to do so.  I'd love to be able to swing the hammer around, and let inertia and momentum actually have play in the physics and damage count, that'd be great.  I just get this bad-awful feeling that they still think Project Hammer is too hardcore for their casual crowds..

I'm not betting on it.  Nintendo hasn't delivered on any of it's new material at all.  I really don't think we should hold our breath.

Yeah, I heard it completely got scrapped, but who knows anymore with Nintendo. I personally was digging the concept of Disaster: Day of Crisis, and I'm wondering what exactly happened there.

At least one good looking hardcore game is still going, but I want to know what are you surviving from in that game besides disasters is there like monsters or something.

Oh really? I just haven't heard anything about it since its initial revelation. I hope Nintendo starts bringing back these awesome looking titles they initially showed.

Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be coming back. We never even heard too much news about the game and the last information about it being canceled isn't too encouraging.

What do you mean? If you are referring to the three new titles that Nintendo announced at the Wii launch E3, Excite Truck already came out and Disaster is coming out in the next few months. Only Project H.A.M.M.E.R. was canned.

I would love to see Project H.A.M.M.E.R. come out.

I don't know the scope of the game, but to me it seems like it would be a great WiiWare MotionPlus game. If Nintendo did that, then they would not only have a great title that uses MotionPlus, but they would also have a great WiiWare title.

I'm not even sure if this game even exists anymore. It really looked awesome. Now perhaps they could release to use the functionalities of the WiiMotionPlus? That I would say would be something, if it ever comes out that is.
