As far as I know, this is a brand new promotion. It just appeared in this week's sale ad and that store is relatively good at getting video game products in on time.



There are so many Limited Editions of the DS now. I got a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon one last month.  (That was August's special edition DS. The month before had a bundle deal...  is it really a monthly thing? ) My DSLite is black with glittery gold and silver Palkia and Dialga pictures on top.

The http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_versions_of_the_Nintendo_DS page needs some serious work. And pictures. I may try updating it later tonight if no one else does. =)

Fred Meyer, Amazon.com, BestBuy (expires 10/11/2008 on BestBuy.com) are the only retailers I can find by name. Googling for Target, Toys R Us, Circuit City don't bring up results for this promotion.
