Ocarina of Time was what restarted my interest in art.

I played that game and saw how ugly the trees and plants were. That made me want to go on to become a great video game artist specializing in landscapes and vegetation.

As better hardware and software came out, I realized there were people more skilled than I am. Still, my interest in art had been sparked in a big way. I still want to do something with it for a career.

OoT is one of the few games I've actually completed. I even beat it twice. O:

1998 was a great year for games, Zelda in particular.
Party time! *Brings out the cake (and pie ;p) and ice cream*

A friend first loaned the game to me after he'd beat it.  I got to Lake Hylia and couldn't figure out why I couldn't seem to dive deep enough to pick up the bottle at the bottom of the lake.
I went out and bought my own copy later that week.  My first look into the Zelda series...  A great game.

I really need to figure out the store where I bought the game.  It's since gone out of business and it bugs me that I don't know it.

I remember losing the game for a year or two and finally getting to go back and finish it.
