Could someone please gift me the Wii Speak Channel (or rather the temporary channel that you get before Wii Speak is released?

You can't send it as a gift. There is a redemption code for ONE copy on a Wii Console.
You'll have to buy a WiiSpeak Mic or Animal Crossing with the bundle.

Oh. I know about the codes, but I wasn't sure if it was like the Dr. Mario Online Rx Friend Demo. Technically that can only be sent from within the full version of the game, but if you go to the download page you can still gift it to people.
