With Plat coming soon, I started getting back into pokemon.  I'm just curious who else on this forum still battles, or would like to get back into having pokemon battles.

I personally am just getting a team together.  I can battle now, but my team is not refined, just a bunch of people thrown together to test them out.  If you are insterested in battleing, not just me, but anyone, post here.  Lets see how many people we have, see how much fun we can make.

Oh, I can battle on DS or PBR, post that too so we are aware.  Since this pokemon board hasn't seen a lot of action recently, I expect a slow response time, so everyone needs to just exhale now and relax.

With that, the first post is done.

I'd love to do some battling, however my router is currently broken.

I plan to, within the next month or so.

I can battle but only on PBR. My Wii is hooked up to the internet using my ethernet cable since I can't go on wirelessly anymore (they changed the wireless network on campus to one that is too secure for a Wii or a DS to get on.)

Great, this means I have to keep EV training...

One thing that I never really talked about, and thatas house rules.  I dont want things to be too strict here, but there are a few things that I would like us all to follow:

1.  Evasion clause: no double team

2.  Sleep clause: you are only allowed to put one pokemon to sleep at a time.

Those are the main two.  No ubers and species clauses are commonly in effect, but I'd rather just play a team of 6 swamperts than not play at all right now.

If anyone has any questions on these rules just ask and I will go into more detail.
