I can't believe I managed to get one on the GTS.  I put up a level 70 and up Torchic,  and waited a day or so and then upon checking I've come to witness the glory that is a Mew!

It's Japanese,  with a Japanese OT.  The location stats follow...

Quirky nature (which isn't bad)
Mar. 28th, 2007
Hoenn (which makes it the event Pokemon,  because there is no other way to get it)
Arrived at Lv.30 (which is the level you catch it at)

That means it's the Mew you could only get from Emerald.  I always wanted to get this but had no access to such a card for the e-reader.  And from a misc. source -- mostly Yahoo answers: "Mew can be caught in Faraway Island, but the only way you can get there is by boat. You need a ticket that is only given in Special Nintendo Conventions."

This makes me feel REALLY lucky.  I mean,  I'm not bragging or anything but I feel really super lucky to have gotten this... and just wanted to share with you the joys of the GTS.

I don't trust it overly much mostly because lots of people offer such crappy, and hacked pokemon.

Anyone else have any good luck with the GTS?

IVs are important to me too,  when I'm training a team I usually do need a specific nature to complement the way I train it and it's move set.  Though,  I'm not sure if you can get a mew on your game pack with your own ID in the diamond and pearl series. 

I'm not totally sure if 'My Pokemon Ranch' has your players ID or the girls ID from the game givin' to you.  I received the the Mew data from my friend who owns it -- it's why I was able to search for it in the first place on the GTS.
