I'm looking for a sports game, for any Nintendo platform (or even PC), that has a good create-a-player/create-a-team features. One of my favorite things to do is create versions of my favorite characters from TV shows, books, etc., or even myself and my friends, and then absolutely dominate the computer using a team made with those players.

I've ordered a copy of NHL Hitz 2003 from Amazon.com, since so far that's my favorite game with create-a-player capability (I rented it several times as a kid), but I would like something else to play while waiting for it to arrive. In addition to that, I also own NBA Street V3 but since mom only allowed me to take a few Gamecube games with me to college (but all of my Wii games) it's at home.

I've kinda been looking into some of the newer Backyard Sports titles (even if they are easy and geared towards children) but I dunno how good the customization features are.

So yeah. Other than the fact that it must be Nintendo or PC, the limits are that it must be EASILY available in stores (as in I can walk to Slackers after class and pick up a copy right away) or for download, and must be cheap or well worth its price (I have no objections to emulation, so any game that's for N64 or prior systems is ok too.)

EDIT: May as well add this since someone on another forum mentioned it... I don't like wrestling games, so those are out. Almost any other sport is fine.
