If you haven't watched the teaser trailer yet... well... Err... Yeah. I don't really know what to tell you.
I think that you should see it because it looks awesome. (As most teaser trailers do.)
I think that you should not see it so you can just keep your mind fresh & free until the game comes out sometime in 2010 or 2011...
(The trailer says 2010, however I'll believe it when I see it.)

If you thought the Prime series re-invented Metroid... It looks like the M series (or just the M game) has plans to expand the series even more.
Granted... Pre-shot videos talk is cheap. However, some of the stuff the videos show will be wicked awesome if the developers are able to pull it off.

Things like... 1st Person and 3rd Person battles. Samus pulling off more moves & varied attacks. And a story that looks like it'll explain more of the Bounty Hunter's past.

That being said, any of you seen the video yet? Any hopes and dreams for a project that looks like it may try too hard to be everything, and end up giving us nothing?

seeing the amazing work that Team Ninja did on Ninja Gaiden on the original Xbox and on the DS version of Ninja Gaiden, then i am expecting HUGE things... not only graphics wise (which already look awesome) but also gameplay...
its about time we got some serious metroid love!!

This game was way the hell out of left field. Completely blindsided everyone.

And it looks awesome. Appears to be 2.5D with context-sensitive perspective changes.

I am very excited with this game! It practically guarentees to bring something fresh to the Metroid Series that has not been done before...that same feeling of freshness made Metroid Prime Hunters so great to me. I have seen so many theories and interpretations of the one trailer alone to make my head wonder off into the Metroid universe. I can only hope that Other M has a story that has as much wonder. The gameplay...as I said, is fresh and I like the superhuman approach in combat. The game seems to have a story that dives into past Metroid events such as Samus and Adam's relationship and Mother Brain's killing of the Infant Metroid with flashbacks. This game looks amazing too!

Some fans though....are going to end up driving this game into the ground, as they are already going too far in my opinion. I mean do we really need a scene by scene analysis of a trailer? That's taking it a bit too far in my book. This is going to turn out to be another Corruption situation on some sites, or even worse. I knew most of Corruption before I played it. Then, of course, some Metroid fans just have to hear themselves ***** or they are not happy. With Other M, I'm heading out if too many spoilers come up.

likewise... i might stay away from any info on this game, except for a release date, and then (like the Metroid nerd that i am) I will proceed to take off 48 hrs off of work to dedicate to this game the day it comes out!

I usually don't care when a Metroid game is introduced, but this looks like it will be a lot of fun. The in-game engine looks a little bland right now and I hope that gets cleans up by release time.

Cinematic graphics look very good for a Wii game though!

I am looking forward to this but the main people behind Team Ninja have left. Including Itagaki and most of the senior staff.
