I loved dragon quest 8 and I'm totally loving 9. I really like the way they arranged the character creation/modification abilities... You customize the appearance of every character you make. You can have up to 7 at once (4 total characters in your party at once). You can change vocation at any point and go back to any previous vocation with the same level/stats/abilities/spells they had before.

I haven't delved too deep into the changing of vocations but Alex has. I'm considering changing things now, at level 35. It seems you can change vocations at any level, only depending on what point in the story you've progressed to.

Alex came to my game (his main character joined my party in my copy of the game - lan connection) and we had a blast killing off tons of triple stack slimes Love the LAN feature.


Anyone here have this game as well? How's it goin'?
