Who's going to be among the first to get the 3ds?  ME!


I'm assuming it'll be a march release.. and HOPING that it will be launched with games that are not remakes.... but originals and awesome


I would reeeeeeeeeally love it if animal crossing was a launch title.


Does anyone know what price range the games are expected to be in?

I may hold off buying one until the inevitable revision. I don't have a huge amount of cash to throw around and the second version is always so much nicer.

Of course, if I do this, I'll have to buy a bunch of early-release games (Layton) and have them sit on my shelf for months. D:

I'm waiting to see when it will be released, since my birthday is in the middle of March and I don't know if it would be something for me to buy or to be received. I'm excited for it mainly because my DS lite hinge has cracked, lol. The tile selection that I've heard sounds pretty awesome, too.

Now let's see if they keep the Canadian price that for once. I hate when the dollars are at parity or near and companies don't update their prices. :|

isn't the Canadian exchange rate really really close though? I thought when i was at the airport they said it was a dollar for a dollar lol

I preordered the Aqua blue 3DS on Amazon yesterday. Says I should get it the 29th :3 I dunno what my first game for it will be though XD

That is what I said. I don't want to end up paying more than I should be because of prices stuck thinking the Cdn$ is worth 0.8.

ohhh i thought you meant if they just straight translated it from $250 american to $250 canadian without adjusting it through the exchange rate thingy

I'm excited for the 3DS, but I'm not going to buy it at launch. I'm going to have to spend some money to improve my Youtube series (at least $300 but probably more) and we don't even know what the launch games are. They did say 30 games by the end of June though.

I'm probably going to have to hold out till a bundle comes along. $250 for just the system and the built-in software just doesn't sound all that appealing to me. Hopefully there will be a Mario Kart Bundle by Christmas time!

I know I probably wont be able to afford one this summer, might get one while in the USA, just because its almost half price X____x

when are you moving to the states? cause if it's any time soon it might be better to get a US one anyways :3

I'm still using the old phat and it's down to like an hour battery life, so it's time for an upgrade lol. I figure I saved enough money by not buying the lite/dsi/xl etc that its worth the $250. That and I kept telling myself since e3 that it would be $300 so that anything under would feel cheap

I'm definitely going to get it when it comes out. Just curious, is there anything extra if you preorder it? I'm pretty bummed about the launch titles though. The only game I've seen that I'd like to get so far is Super Monkey Ball. Although maybe it's good that there aren't more titles that I want to get considering they're $40 now.
