http://www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/sx3j/index.html

Nintendo dropped this at a shareholder meeting today with no more information than what you see here. Genre is unknown, part of Nintendo developing it is unknown. Whether it will come out of Japan is unknown.

Rating is "C", Japan's pseudo-equivalent to the ESRB's Teen (C is 15+). Release is May 26, 2011 in Japan.

The mighty NeoGAF also discovered this: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=25658064&postcount=15

Those are quotes from the Book of Job in the Bible.

I am intrigued, and the release date being so soon means we should get more information before long. I am also saddened that so many things don't make it out of Japan and am afraid for this one.

Random anecdote, this is the same way they revealed Metroid: Other M. Website with one image and a piano song.

Edit: Apparently there was a different image up there before that showed her eyes, but they've since removed it for some reason. This is it:

As silly as this sounds with so little information... I'm excited to see what comes of this.

Also: I LOVE the piano music they have playing.

Video!

Graphics are pretty middling.

Edit: Story/genre info:

ARPG! Somewhat interested. Disappointed you don't play as Ceres though. :|

Yeah, the graphics look more like a mid-cycle PS2 game. The video capture looks a little cheap too, so it may look a little better than what has been shown thus far. Hopefully, it will get cleaned up a bit more before it is released.

Yeah, now you're just being ridiculous. Go look at a PS2 game and then come back and say that. It looks more like a late GameCube title.

Anyway, new info. Some really tiny screens and really tiny box art! http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/04/13/pandoras_tower_update/

Think I'm exaggerating a bit? Maybe so.

I still think it's that video quality that is throwing me off; the screen shots look much better. Also, the box art is awesome! It would be nice if we could actually get good box art in NA every once in awhile.

Amazon has larger box art and screens. Click the box art image to see them: http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E4%BB%BB%E5%A4%A9%E5%A0%82-%E3%83%91%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%E3%83%A9%E3%81%AE%E5%A1%94-%E5%90%9B%E3%81%AE%E3%82%82%E3%81%A8%E3%81%B8%E5%B8%B0%E3%82%8B%E3%81%BE%E3%81%A7/dp/B004VPXR64/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1302752006&sr=1-1

The screens look much better than the video, but some of the textures are still borked. The ground in that really green shot with the boss, for example.

Also, box art fail: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=27160519&postcount=294
Disappointment total. Wonder if Nintendo will change the box art now.

He does look a lot (and by "a lot" I mean "completely")  like Noctis... Is Nomura taking freelance jobs? IMO, he has a problem with slighty changing the characters he already designed and then calls them "new" characters. But, I digress.

Nintendo may have to change the box art, but it's way too late to change that character in-game. Unless they delay it...

The design of the character is not the problem. The problem is that that part of the box art appears to be traced.

New trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=61kqV8lf17E

DRAMATIC LATIN CHANTING

I don't know, it looks a lot better than the early screens and stuff, but the visuals still look weak to me. The textures just look so... dirty, like they're too compressed or something.

The environments also look really empty to me, but it is placed within towers, so maybe that won't irritate when playing.

I wonder what this game is going to be rated, assuming it makes it to North America! It appears to be fairly graphic, you know, with the girl having to eat the flesh of defeated monsters.

Off Topic: Oh Nintendo, I wish you would announce a few games to support the Wii and DS for the rest of their life cycles. For the Wii: The Last Story! And for the DS, Fire Emblem 3 Remake!!! I know that there are more than those two, but those would be a good place to start! Come on E3 press conference, announce those games for NA release!
