I took a look at Serebii.net today and I saw this:

It appears that Pokémon is doing a crossover with the franchise Nobunaga's Ambition. It appears to to be a SRPG.

No one is sure if this is the new Pokémon game that is to be revealed in next month's Coro Coro magazine or not. Regardless, I'm looking forward to more information and I have a feeling I'll be looking into the Nobunaga's Ambition franchise next year. Apparently, it's a long running franchise that has been around since 1983 with the latest version released last year. It also looks like the majority of the series has stayed in Japan. I guess we will find out if Pokémon is enough to bring it to other territories.

What do you all think of a Pokémon crossover?

I watched the trailer and have no idea what to make of this. I'll have to wait and see I guess.


Pocket Monster Hunter. Fighting giant MonHun-styled versions of Pokemon with armour and weapon elements working within the Pokemon framework would be the best game ever. Maybe capturing some of them to take the place of your usual AI assistants.

It'll never happen because Pokemon is about forming a bond with your monsters, not killing them.
