For starters, I LOVED Pokemon Puzzle League on the N64, and I assume these two games are the same (except one has a Pokemon theme). Is Planet Puzzle League any good? Also, how's the wifi?

I heard PPL is just LIKE PPL64. AHahah same acronyms!11!. Never played it, but considering you use the touch screen to move the blocks, the pace would be much faster than Pokemon. Heard it was a good game so I'd say, GO FOR IT OR GO FOR GOLD.

If you like puzzles and use your DS a decent amount, by all means pick it up. I've heard nothing of good things about it, and would have picked it up already myself if it wasn't for having to save cash up lately.
And yeah, I know the feeling, I fell in love with this type of puzzles since Tetris Attack.

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to play Planet Puzzle League yet, but, I love Tetris Attack, Pokémon Puzzle League, and Pokémon Puzzle Challenge. Pretty much anything around this game, regardless of the theme used, is great. Planet Puzzle League is definitely on my list of things to pick up whenever I actually get some money to spare.

Hmm, using the touch screen to move blocks seems interesting. I'm just worried about whether or not I'll keep playing this game although I know it's nothing like Polarium (I got that game, played it twice, haven't touched it since. It's just not that fun).
Guess I should get it next time I go to the game store.

It's very much in the vein of Meteos. It's not that complex perhaps, but it's definitely within the same realm of puzzle game. I'd say that the game has about the same ability to hold your attention as something like Tetris. For me, that equates to very short spurts. It's great for what it is, but it's not something I, personally, enjoy for hours on end. A few minutes here & there between appts. The game is held book-style.

Book style? Now THAT'S interesting! I don't have any games like that! (My bro's GF has Brain Age, though, and I've watched her play it "book style").

Hmm...not sure. Never tried that game, but it is similar to Pokemon Trozei.

Of course! They're both Puzzle League games, only Pokemon Puzzle League has a Pokemon theme.

Very, very like Pokemon Puzzle League. Except on a handheld with no Pokemon theme.

I'd say if you loved Pokemon Puzzle League, then Planet Puzzle League's something worth getting. The gameplay is exactly the same, but the feel is completely different, and it's not just because it has no Pokemon theme. (I miss Misty. ) The feel is just completely different, with its modern beats and stuff like that. And the Vs. PC mode is very different. You don't go around beating people like in Pokemon Puzzle League. You play an anonymous computer and advance in 10 stages. And as far as the new block designs go, some of them take a while getting used to.
