Someone trying to get some sick revenge on Gorons? Had nightmares as a child? o.O
My friend told me she had an extreme fear of redeads as a child.

My friend told me she had an extreme fear of redeads as a child.
I initially read that as "redheads."

I'm feeling sorry for the Gorons in that minigame. I just can't imagine myself enjoying that game with little siblings around-- it's too mean. <.<

It also reminds me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UlAkOhH9eek
(That one may hurt just to watch.)

I can see the board meeting now...

"What can we do to continue our innovative image?"

Silence.

"New franchise?"
"No, Microsoft and Sony are doing that just fine."

Silence.

"Better online capabilities?"
"Nonsense, everyone on the internet is a pedophile."

Silence.

"Shooting Gorons in the crotch?"
"That's PERFECT! You're getting promoted."

Yeah, that's how I think it went.

Um, wut? I'm sure it's a good upgrade to Duck Hunt in terms of game modes, but wut?

At least it comes with the Zapper. @.@

Oh HELL, Nintendo knows I'm going to buy the blasted thing.  :|  It's bloody ZELDA, of course I'll buy it.

What do you think ruined the engine this game was modded from, Twilight Princess?  It's rushed Wii incarnation created to bolster the Wii launch and showcase the Wii peripheral.

Now here we are again, abusing the TP engine, this time thankfully with no hope, and with that no disappointment, of a complete and flowing story.

I swear, the Wii itself has become FAR more important to Nintendo then they're franchises.  Seriously, watch their game commercials.  What do they showcase?  The games or the system and how IT works vs the content of the game.  YES, Wiiplay SHOULD do that, but Zelda or Metroid?  Honestly, people aren't going to buy that game because of a few motion controls.  It's the established STORY and GAMEPLAY.

Suffice it to say, the announcement of this little "Zelda game" really pissed TTL off.

EDIT:  ALTHOUGH, I will say the crossbow is pretty cool.  Maybe it'll make it's way into a real Zelda game again.    No, I'm not citing this game, try ALttP.  Not sure of Link ever got one, but the guards had em'.

After seeing some new screens for the game I'm actually sold to the idea.  It feels like they're trying to give some worth to the game.  Things look a bit larger, the opening screen logo is pretty sweet.  Seems like the first time Link outranks Zelda in a title.

I'm still not super happy with what they did with Twilight Princess, but I guess my issues were story related, and since this game doesn't deal with this and replaces it with a simpler pretext and keeps the wonderful artistic design that I did enjoy, there's no reason to have a problem with it.

Expect me to be a pleasant participant in Link's Crossbow Training.

At least you get to...

Hay guys, remember the Redeads from Wind Waker? That's how Nicole Richie looked before her pregnancy, in case anyone was wondering.

The videos look good too, I just cringe at the way the movement looks in Ranger Mode because of the stiffness of turning around....they say it's not as bad as Red Steel, but it almost looks like it.  Other than that, even I am almost convinced to get this game(and I hafta be stingy....when does this release, early or late November...I can't remember)..

Okay, I'm watching the IGN videos and I want to know . . . who'd Link suddenly get a machine gun?  Yeah, it's the crossbow, but as the guy showing off the game proclaims "Tommy Gun" I'm wondering what's up with that.

I DO like how it appears to be magic induced, but still seems like we're taking Zelda into a weird genre here . . .
