Everyone's been going through this article...many regulars(IGN, The Wiire) seem to think it's not entirely possible, but I think after Nintendo changed their policy/End User Agreement last-update, that they probably have attempted to cast off responsibility to the user so that they COULD do something like that.  Which throw in a USB keyboard if they'd do that(and have it so it doesn't fill up the WHOLE screen), and it'd definately be the best Animal Crossing ever.

I'd love to see some kind of support for Virtual Console games.  Either you could 'win' free-downloads or "Gift Downloads" using Wii Shop's upcoming gift-service, that'd be awesome....something akin to Achievements, but without making it possible for Action Replay(I think it's still disabled) or some other way of never buying VC games again.  OR if not, at least let your 'channels' appear in your house as appropriately-designed consoles sitting in your house that you could pick up and play.

On a side-note....the Wii almost IS a real-life iPod-ish version of Animal Crossing....you have your bulletin board, mail, VC games, other channels.....it's too bad the main system menu wasn't a 3D interactive Animal Crossing environment...or at least have an AC skin for it.
