This is a really nice custom Samus Aran Figure!  Wow, and is it selling!  $900+ as I'm posting this!

Wow, that kicks the can of the "official" figures they've made, save maybe the first4figure statues which aren't half bad.  Check out the youtube on the ebay page too, it's got the sweet Corruption opening to it!

Wow, that is an extremely sweet action figure. Great amount of detail, too. No way in hell would I pay $900 for that though. I'm a huge, huge Metroid fan obviously, but I have my limits as to how much money I will spent on a Metroid collectible.

I don't know though, the action figures at first4figures are pretty darn sweet. In fact, my boyfriend pre-ordered the Varia Suit one already back in August, as a birthday gift. They are shipping soon so I should have my Varia Suit action figure soon! I can't wait.

By the way, they updated the look of the action figures at first4figures. This is what the Varia Suit model looks like now:

FREAKING SWEET. I can't wait til I get it.

those are awesome!!
I o like the one TTL posted up! Though for 900$, I could pretty much hire someone to make me one >_> *is kiddin*
still, thats very pricey.
I had seen the one Boogie posted up, at a different site actually. it was going for 130$
i might look into it and see if can get myself one of those.
*regrets not buying that Samus Bobblehead way back when Metroid Prime came out... for 9$!!!*

I've actually got a statue from first4figures, the Fierce Deity Link one.  It's pretty nice.  I've thought about getting more, Zelda that is, but I do like the look of the Samus Varia Suit, especially this new look.  I've got way to many things I'd like to have and no job.  Bad combo.

And I want to try to get back into making/buying Clonetrooper armor.  Ha!  XP

Custom ones that are poseable are best. Some people use old action figures, and buy modeling clay-like plastic and sculpting tools to make figures.

My favorite is still the modified Barbie doll that Nintendo Power published in issue 100.

That is a very nice figure TTL, but I think that $900+ is way too much for any kind of collectible figure no matter how detailed it is.
