Anyone care to recommend a good DS RPG? I'm already familar with the FF games. Not really Keen to Poke'mon as well. As long as it has great gameplay, story, and music. mostly good gameplay and story.

What about Dragon Quest? The monster thingy. I heard Alex playing it, it sounded pretty fun.

Joker? I heard seem simialr to poke'mon but with less strategy. Sounds iffy, but I'll keep it in mind.

Well, as I said in LBoogie's topic as well, I'd definitely recommend Magical Starsign. It's a great game, by the same team who did Mother 3 for GBA also.

While I'm not huge on RPGs, I had this same dilemma since I wanted to get a good game for my boyfriend who LOVES RPGs.

I was going to get him Magical Starsign for Christmas, however, my local GameStop didn't have any more copies. So, I ended up buying Heroes of Mana for him. He absolutely loves the game so far. It is a strategic RPG, but according to him, it's a lot of fun. It's made by Square Enix. From all the research I did, I would probably suggest Heroes of Mana or Magical Starsign.

I recommend Contact.  It's a very good and underrated RPG which is developed by Grasshopper.  To some that's a surprise, considering the general type of games Grasshopper develops.  That's nothing to worry about, however, though it's an interesting fact, at most.  It'll only cost you $20 for a new copy, too.

Tao's Adventure is a decent RPG and you should be able to find it for a good price.
