Did anyone ever play this game on the NES??
I remember i borrowed it from a friend when i was in 3rd grade, and i totally loved it.
one plays as a wizard, and has to go through this castle thing to try and rescue someone... i forget who. probably a locked up maiden or princess, you all know how that goes.
but anyway, it has an isometric point of view, and its part platformer and part rpg from what i can remember.
i could never understand anything though, cause i didnt speak english at the time, but i do remember playing it a lot...
have i asked this already??

I think I remember seeing it in an old NP at one point, but I don't think I've ever really had the chance to play it...it looked like some kind of a puzzle game..

...and really?  I didn't know English wasn't your first language...

^^;
yeah, i didnt come to the US until i was 11.
but lets not get this thread off track...

that game was definitely an rpg/mild platformer....
not supermario type, but there were moving platforms and hazards along the way, pitfalls and areas of the floor with spikes and stuff...
i wish Nintendo would make it available on VC

I'd had this game in the corner of my eye for a while, and finally had the chance to pick it up a couple of months or so ago.
Haven't had a chance to play it since getting it yet though

It seems like a pretty interesting game though (which is why I did pick it up).

As far as the VC goes, Solstice was published by Sony, who... well, kind of has their own system now, and probably isn't too eager to allow Nintendo to use anything that would help their current system. So, I wouldn't think that's too likely to ever show up there.
