Best.  Update.  Evar.  :B

No seriously, I love all of those screenshots....some are just hilarious, like Nana looking 'slyly' down at Popo, hammer raised, as he clings to the edge for his life  It's the type of "comedic out-of-context" stuff that I just really like.  If it wasn't a pain to load each image I'd attempt to save each one....but who knows, maybe we'll all be able to make some just as good or better(and with that new program that converts the images to readable JPG format, it might make things a whole lot easier).

...couple of quick notes I want to make before I forget...

Movement feels STIFF somehow.  I thought they said the aerial battles would be slower, but it feels like the ground-game is slower than before....maybe it's just a sort of Princess and the Pea thing, but ugh, I need to get used to this.

It almost feels like we needed a Classic Mode, Subspace, AND the 'old' Adventure Mode.  Classic is more basic than before, and although I'm prrrrretty sure it's not 100% set-enemy, I've already had very similar run-throughs.  Lemmie clarify: I've faced Giant Charizard twice already, and although I've only completed Classic Mode twice, it just feels like both runs were nearly identical. I haven't seen this anywhere, nor can I really remember both times very clearly, but I know I fought Diddy Kong and Donkey Kong and a Giant Charizard both times...it's getting annoying.

....where the HECK are my 'achievement' bonuses?  Not the hammer-wall-thing....I mean like at the end of every battle in Classic and Adventure mode from Melee.  That was half of the comedy and overall fun was seeing what sort of 'rediculous' points I had, not to mention it gave me a REASON to use my Fighter-Stance.  Now it just burps out coins and gives me my time and damage scores.  Are they hidden, or completely removed???

Suffice to say that none of this is game breaking, but annoying all the same.  I just hope I get used to the 'stiff' thing soon...

Yeah, I'm honestly no good at this game. I played through a few rounds in Brawl with friends after picking it up, and the engine feels a lot different. I kept losing, and it felt almost unnatural to me.

Then we played a round of Melee just for kicks, and I felt much more comfortable. I'm not saying it's better, it's just different. Brawl has the means to be much more fast paced as I can see it. The characters are being more and more well balanced.

I know how you feel, Shin. I think you should try a different controller or two. I was really not happy with the controls until I tried using a wavebird instead. It's soooooooooo much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
