A full plain text list of the games can be found here.
On the shelves and stuff below, all the games except the Wii games (and the GB/GBC/GBA/DS games, obviously) are in alphabetical order. Makes it much easier to find stuff.

As far as pictures, I actually recently took some new ones, so, I have them handy to share.

My systems, on shelves so I can keep the controller underneath, and my television that's probably older than my N64 which I have no plans to replace until it dies. There's a system selector in the middle, have two things plugged into each setting. Also in the back hidden by the system shelf next to the television, I have an uninterruptible power supply for my systems, just in case the power flicks while I'm playing or something.

Most of my NES games.

The rest of my NES games, my GCN games, and a container holding my GB/GBC/GBA games when I don't have them in a bag to bring them somewhere. Just got this shelf a couple of months ago, and it's nice since I'd been running out of room to put stuff.

My SNES games, my N64 games (with labels on the top so I can see what they are without pulling them out), my Genesis games, my Dreamcast games, and my Virtual Boy games.

My Gameboy stuff out of their container and bag.

My DS and games (in smaller cases to make them easier to carry around).

My Virtual Boy, on a shelf.

My Wii and games which are out in another room, since I don't have enough space away from my television in my room to use the Wii.

Should'a known Terrisus's collection would fill up a room the size of the sun, but it's still 'wow'.

My question: how was Red Alarm as a game?  I played it wayyyyyyy back when VB was actually on demo units in Wal-Mart, but of course I never beat it during those times or had much time with it....I always liked it though, and I kind of wish I had a VB to play it on.  And what did you think of the VB and the rest of the games overall?

oooo, looks like Terris has MOTHER 3.  Major kudos.

As for my collection, I'm charging my camera at the moment.  I'll get ahead to taking pictures and posting them soon.

Heh. I'm mostly constrained because I really don't have very much space in my room. It's much better now than it used to be, both because of that new shelf with the GCN and NES games, and even that shelf with the SNES/N64/etc. games is new as of a couple of years ago. Before that I just had stuff lying all over the place, and it was a complete mess. Hopefully once I get married, and when we get a house, I'll have more space there to spread things out and add and such.

As far as Red Alarm specifically, I did a full review of it a bit back which you can check out here. I also did a review of the Virtual Boy system as a whole here, and have reviews of a couple of the other Virtual Boy games on the main listing page here. Did a FAQ for Wario Land for VB as well, but, that probably wouldn't be too interesting if you don't have the game.

As far as a general condensed version, Red Alarm is a pretty fun game, kind of like Star Fox but with wireframe and such (and much shorter and without much story, and... well, it plays similar to Star Fox anyway). The Virtual Boy as a whole is a very interesting system. Its main drawback is that there simply aren't very many games for the system as a total. Still, of the games that did get released, many of them are very fun, and, I definitely enjoy my system very much. Considering the system and most of the games can be had very cheaply (assuming eBay is an option anyway, otherwise finding one might be a pain), I'd definitely recommend checking one out if you have the chance.

Yup. I'd originally held out hope it might come to the US, but, after a while of waiting, I decided I didn't want to wait anymore, and just went ahead and bought it (and Mother 1&2 while I was at it).

My knowledge of Japanese is extremely limited. Basically, I can tell you what the Hiragana/Katakana are (how to read them), but, don't have a clue in the world what 98% of the actual words mean in English, and certainly couldn't form them into any sort of meaningful sentences. So, my first time through, I had to rely on a translation guide to go through it. Once I beat it the first time though, now that I know what to do, I've played through it again on my own just relying on my memory of what to be doing, which has let me spend more time just exploring, since I know where to go once I want to get back on track.

It's, needless to say, an absolutely spectacular game, and I love it very much.

I bow to the awesomeness that is Terris. That's an awesome game collection you have there! Is that a Dreamcast I spot? Do you have a total number of games that you own for every system?

Hey, it's not just about total numbers, it's about enjoying the games one has. I'd rather have 20 games that I love than 1000 that I never played. As long as you enjoy the games you have, that's all that really matters

Indeed, that is a Dreamcast. I didn't actually end up getting one until it was pretty much "dying" (so to speak), so, I was late to the party with that. I haven't had a chance to get too many games for it yet, obviously, but, I'm slowly building up those games as well.

The total count (for each individual system and as a whole) is at the bottom of my overall game list (links don't really show up too well here I guess. There's a link in that previous text). Specifically, I'm at 585 games right now.

I feel that about my games as well. Some of the games I have didn't get that great of reviews, but I loved them anyway. (Such as the LotR games)

Heh, Boog, are all those only boxes next to your collection of SNES games, or are they complete sets?
