So, I've got 11 Magikarps that are the offspring of an unknown IV Gyrados (she's served me quite well in the past, so they can't be THAT bad) and my uber IV Charizard. I make no guarantees on the final IV's of these Magikarps, but they could potentially be quite epic. The natures aren't ideal, but they could make decent breeders. I also have Bagons that were obtained through a Shelgon with perfect speed and my Charizard.

I could also try breeding my Charizard with any other Pokemon he's compatible with... assuming I have a female of that Pokemon. IV checks are semi-inconvenient for me, since there's no wifi in my room (I have to go to a lounge for that, and I don't always feel like taking my computer with me). At the very least I check their potential highest IV with a characteristics chart.

What I would like in return:

TMs (especially Earthquake. I could use lots of these)
High IV Dittos

I don't mind cloned items/Pokemon, just know that I myself do NOT know how to clone (well, I do, but I can't get it to work), and as much as I trust y'all, I don't trust anyone to make clones of my proven-awesome Pokemon. I don't like anything obtained through AR.

Would you like me to teach you how to do IV checks? I can help you with IV battles too if needed.

In about 50% of the babies at least 3 ivs of the parents are passed on.

I know how to do an IV check, it's just tedious and inconvenient. I'd rather not write down a ton of stats on paper, and to avoid that I need to bring my laptop with me. Plus I have ALOT of Magikarps to check.

Kstar, you could trade them to me and I could check them. I guess I care more about the ivs than you do though.. so I guess it's whatev.

I care... or at least need to start caring, because if I don't have any guaranteed good IV Pokemon I'll never get any good Pokemon from other trainers...

Maybe this Saturday I'll just spend the whole day in the lounge so I can get checks done.

But no one wants to take a gamble on these potentially epic Magikarps? BTW, I do have IV's for a few of my Bagons:

Calm Bagon (female):
10/5/1/18/1/31

Lax Bagon:
8/6/20/19/5/31

Hardy Bagon:
6/21/28/2/20/17

Impish Bagon:
6/23/6/18/24/25

I don't think it's much of a gamble...  ashamed;

Maybe i'll buy some as food for my Regirock.

*sigh* So just because I'm not THAT dedicated means I can never get anything good for whatever effort I put into breeding/training? How's the average trainer supposed to achieve anything these days?

This reminds me of a hack my friend showed me (using an action replay DS :p)

The hack is for the ultimate Magikarp.  It comes as a shiny level 100 with the best stats ever.  And the moves are GREAT.  A Magikarp with FireSpin, ice beam, thunderbolt, and a water spind.  I might have been off a little on the moves, but it's something like that.

Lol. Mine aren't hacks though. Just (hopefully) good breeding. The characteristics on many of them indicate a potential 31 in attack or speed.

You can IV check and EV check via Serebii.net! It's convenient (and confusing) to me!

I know, and that's what I use. The inconvenient part is I have to leave my room and run to the lounge to even get in the battle... then write down the stats... then run back to my room, hop on my laptop, and do the check. I'm not always willing to take my laptop with me.
