Yup, a mono fire team is tough to play, especially with stealth rock.  Like you said, there's a pretty limited amount too, although this isn't strictly 4th Gen.  A team with three fire types might be workable though.

What about something like a rock/fire gym, sort of like mimicing Magma and all that(I suddenly get a flashback of Dr. Evil saying 'We're in a volcanooooo...it'z filled with hot liquid MAG-MA').  Course, they'd be sitting ducks for water and leaf....n'ahhh well.
