Well today....

I went to the game store to look around.  I only took 15 bucks because I was not planning on buying anything but then....I saw the used DS games and Trace Memory was for 9 dollars.  Some of my pals said it's a fun game so I got it.

My first thoughts:

So far the graphics have been very pleasing.  The top screen always has a detailed picture of the place you are in.  The only thing thats aquird is the bottom screen when you walk around.  Rather then showing what the charecter is watching it show a birds eye view of everything.

The story is also good.  You play the role as a 13 year old girl who is trying to find her father on an island.  THe story turns into multiple mysterys that are centered around puzzles.  It's fun.

Conclusion:

So far after playing the games for an hour I really like the game.  In my opinion it was worth the money.

I love Trace Memory. I actually got it when it first came out. I'm a big fan of those point-and-click adventure games, and I'm glad to see the DS trying to keep that genre alive.

The story of Trace Memory is quite interesting, and the puzzles you come across are pretty creative. My only problem with the game is it's relatively short. It's very addicting too, which kind of makes you fly through the game pretty quick. I actually ended up beating the game the same day I bought because I couldn't put it down!

If you like Trace Memory, then Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is another DS game to look into after you finish Trace Memory. It's made by the same developer and it's a great addition to the point-and-click adventure genre, and it happens to be a lengthier game compared to Trace Memory.

Trace Memory is brilliant. I played through it once, then played through it again right away. I do wish it was longer, but it's so good that it's hard to complain.

I still haven't played Hotel Dusk. I need to pick it up eventually.

I totally agree.  With my photo graphic memory though there was just no point to play it a third time so I sold it back.

I have Hotel Dusk, but I haven't played it yet.
