I think you opened up a Pandora's Box here.  Oh well, here I go... :B Hmm...let me think... - Krystal - Yeah, I know we're getting kind of overloaded with Star Fox characters (rather, clones) recently, but as long as they put her in with her Staff rather than handing her a ray gun like the other characters, I think Krystal has some serious potential as a very unique brawler. There isn't a character yet in the Smash Bros. series with any significant ninja-like stick or staff fighting ability, and I think the addition of a character with such a move set would be rather interesting to see. I'm actually kind of disappointed they decided to add a third Star Fox clone in the form of Wolf rather than adding Krystal (or at least giving Wolf a significantly differing move set, but then again I haven't personally played him yet so I don't really know and I guess I can't really comment on that =P ).
- Little Mac - why oh why was he just a lowly assist trophy?
- Gray Fox - ditto the above
- Ridley - Hey, if they're going to have *pauses and counts...* EIGHT or so characters from the Mario Universe, they can certainly have more than one Metroid Series Representative.
- Leon Kennedy - Despite the fact that it's already been said hundreds of times before (just like Ridley, actually), I figure once more couldn't hurt.
- Project H.A.M.M.E.R. - Just because the game was "postponed indefinitely" doesn't mean this would-have-been awesome dude wouldn't make an interesting addition to the Smash crew. He would probably be one of the slower and more powerful characters, and would probably have a very low jump height. Players who enjoy the more powerful characters would probably like the extra reach the hammer would provide, which would probably make for a pretty wide attack range. He would make for some pretty interesting matches, to say the least.
- Ray (from Disaster: Day of Crisis) - Take a look at THIS and tell me he wouldn't be an awesome addition. Just because the game isn't out yet doesn't mean he isn't an option. We're speaking hypothetically here (or at least I am) so technically, nothing is off limits. ^_^
Speaking of hypothetical... - Indiana Jones - C'mon, don't look at me like that. You know perfectly well how epic that would be.
And while we're on the subject...how about - Darth Vader - Captain Jack Sparrow - & Chuck Norris - ...they had to be suggested sooner or later. :B

I mean, come on! Snake and Sonic? Why not Bomberman. He's been gaming with Nintendo since it started in the 80's. It only seems fair, and he'd be fun to play!

If Sonic can be in there, NiGHTS can to. Maybe he can replace a Pokemon, since there are too many of those god damned creatures I hate. It'd be cool to see what movies they gave him.

Hmm.. I would have loved to see a Wolf Link/Midna combo actually. That would rock. Honestly, Snake made my dreams complete, because I always thought he's be an awesome Brawler, and I'm fairly satisfied now.

EXCELLENT idea. I love it! Heck, if not a character, at LEAST a final smash. I suppose the Triforce Slash is pretty cool, but...now I think it pales in comparison to an idea like that!  |

Mia from Golden Sun. She is a staff fighter with Water/Ice Magic. That would have been good. At least Issac is an assist trophy. A 3rd Fire Emblem Character. We have Ike and Marth now. One is heavy and one is light - we need a middle weight. I'm thinking someone from the GBA series - either a mage/shaman or a lance/axe fighter (don't we have enough sword fighters?). From FE7: Canas, Dart, Geitz, Harken, Pent, and Sain. From 8: Seth, Ephraim, Cormag, Knoll, Glen, and Lyon. Any of those. More third party characters Where are the Square-Enix characters? Magus from Chrono Trigger was my number 1 wish. A scyth-wielding mystic - come on you know that would have awesome.  Cecil from FFIV would have been great.  Also, Mega-Man would have been a neat fusion of Samus and Kirby. I'm suprised Capcom didn't offer to put him in. I'm sure I could think of more, but this is a good place to start.

I would love to see any new characters from the Mother series in the next Smash. I think the character from the series that is most likely to get in next game is Pokey, and I'm completely fine with that. He wouldn't be a Ness or Lucas clone. Poo, Jeff, Paula, Claus (Masked Man), and Duster would all be fine choices too.

Well, I want a Metroid villain to sack Samus users with....So I'll choose Weavel, since he wants revenge upon her for what she did to him in the past...

I would like to see Weavel as a player character. I think his energy sythe can become quite a useful tool in a game like Brawl. His B move can be the BattleHammer, but make its blast radius smaller. Then the B side moves can be him using his energized energy sythe from his intro (not his normal energy sythe). His B up can be the HalfTurret, but it rapidly sends his upper half (with energy sythe drawn) up into the air and will slash opponents that come in its way. The B down would also be the HalfTurret; however, this time the bottom half will rain down or disperse BattleHammer bullets in a spinning rapid-fire technique. His Final Smash could involve his hover bike firing down super charged nuclear projectiles upon the arena as he pilots the air craft.

I am so sorely disappointed that Krystal was not in Brawl. The developers beefed up the StarFox presence in the franchise and who do they put in? Wolf. I mean sure, Wolf is cool, and it's always fun to play as a villain, but I feel that Krystal could have brought more from the SF universe with the added appeal of not being so similar to Fox and Falco. Provided Krystal was given her staff insted of a blaster she could have been a great addition to the Smash Bros. roster.
As for third party characters, I could still take them or leave them, however if I had to choose one for inclusion in Smash Bros., l'd probably choose Marina from the Treasure developed game Mischief Makers. That or one of the characters from Killer Instinct.
