Right now I'm listening to a song off of the upcoming album "The Silver Cord" by The Classic Crime.

The song's called Gravedigging, and the album comes out on the 22nd. VERY SOON! I'm pretty excited

This thread hasn't been updated in a while, but why not!

Lately I've been listening to the new All American Rejects album. I've never been a huge fan of them, but I think this album is phenomenal. Besides that, I've also been listening to some 3OH!3, Black Tide, and Valencia.

I have a new favorite artist: Basshunter. He's pretty darn good and alot of his songs are really catchy. It's repetitive, like most techno/dance, but less annoyingly so than Daft Punk (don't get me wrong, I love Daft Punk, but their songs drive my mom insane because of how annoyingly repetitive they are. There were several times during the drive up to school that she made me switch to a different song because Daft Punk was getting annoying for her. I think she'd like Basshunter if she ever heard any of his songs.)

I can't stand Basshunter most of the time, because every song does sound the same. In Electronic music, it doesn't necessarily have to be repetitive, but the mass population thinks it's catchy. If you listen to Basshunter though, you'll catch he uses the same rhythms in almost every song, and in the same progression too!

The only songs he has that I see as identical are Boten Anna and Now You're Gone, and All I Ever Wanted and DotA. And out of those combos I only like Boten Anna and All I Ever Wanted, so those are the only two I've downloaded out of those four. The rest of his songs are great too, even if there's alot of the same rhythm sometimes.

I have his album, they aren't "identical" I was saying the rhythms and progressions are. He just might throw them in at different parts of the song.

I just picked up Howling Bells second album Radio Wars, and I love it!  Treasure Hunt, Nightingale, and Cities Burning Down are some of my favorites. I've also been listening to a lot of Coldplay since I saw them in concert in June, as well as a lot of Muse in prepartion for their new album, The Resistance, that's coming out in September.

I've been listening to some Noise Therapy, a lot of random older stuff that you might know like Bittersweet Symphony, Born to be Wild, Headstrong by Trapt, etc..

Also Eighteen Visions is a pretty good album by the same group name.
